Who is Ivo?

I am an architect architect and I am both technical and artistic. I have worked at MVRDV, OMA, Foster + Partners and UNStudio. I have also worked at a wide variety of architects and engineering firms as a freelance technical Revit modeler. A number of projects that I designed myself have been built.

Vision

Architecture should be environmentally conscious and make people happy. For example, I now design as much as possible with wood, hemp and other renewable materials. I prefer to design together with the clients themselves, trying to translate their dreams in the strongest possible way. The floor plans, materialization and aesthetics of buildings must be flexible in order to adapt to the changing demands of the time.

Working method

I usually combine quick digital hand sketches and collages with a technical BIM model from the start of the design process. This model changes during the process from a global to an increasingly detailed model. This is a fast, realistic and yet free way of working. When I design together with clients or with a group of clients, I usually hold workshops.
